Hard surface floor refinishing can improve the appearance of certain worn, dull or discolored non-wood floors without replacing the entire surface. Depending on its material and condition, a local Mr. Sandless professional may recommend cleaning, recoloring, sealing or refinishing.

Potential surfaces include ceramic tile, VCT, vinyl, laminate, asphalt tile, slate, terrazzo, brick, stone, concrete, Marmoleum and grout. Not every material or condition is suitable for refinishing, and available services vary by location. The surface must be inspected before the appropriate treatment can be recommended.
